Fresh to the scene of Terrain comes a "working artist" who came through with impressive work. Lawa, a digitally altered marker abstract piece, was a certain center of attention at the annual first Friday event this past weekend. The piece featured an abstract uniqueness while maintaining a positive correlation with technology in the arts today. Upon looking at this piece, one might say it looked three dimensional, with depth that impressed many. The texture was that of professionalism, and it tricked the eye. The marker was so carefully applied so that the ink looked as if it were paint, a tough feat to overcome. The colors were brighter than this photo can do justice; a feature that caught the viewers eye to say the least. This "Working Artist," Kaschmitter, made the piece seem even more impressive with the excerpt hanging below the piece, explaining that she had somehow found the time to make this brilliant peace.  I hope to see more of her work in the future. Kudos' to Kaschmitter!
